トイレの水が止まらなくなりました。ジャァァァアァァァアァァァとすごい勢いで滝のように流れる水を呆然と見つめてしばしポワァァァとなりましたが、ふと我に返り、とりあえず水道の元栓を閉めたものの、ふたたび登場のサナダさんの手にも負えず、業者の方に来てもらうことに。まあそれで夕方までにはなんとか修理してもらい、壁の内部でガコンと音がするのを除けば直りました。で、来ていただいた業者の方の話によると、ここのマンションは屋上にある高架水槽によって給水されているため、最上階であるここの部屋は、水の落ちてくる距離が短いから水圧が低いんだって。なるほど。ずっと、古い建物だから水圧が低いのだと思ってた。そういえば桜台の築20数年ものマンションの最上階に住んでたときも水圧低かったなぁ。屋上でビール飲んだときたしかに高架水槽を見た。玄関ドアの手前の天井に、イエローサブマリンみたいにパカッと上に開くまるい扉があって、そこから屋上に出られたんですよ。
で、「高架水槽」という響きがいいなあと思ってぐぐってみたら高架水槽コレクションを発見。すごい。写真がうつくしー。給水塔すごいな。
で、Webやぎの目のガスタンク2001を思い出したついでにこれ発見。「どきどき分度器」。いいなあ角度。月曜日のバックナンバーを読みふけってしまった。吉見百穴いきたーい。
